PREFATORY STATEMENT
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) implements the rules and regulations, policies and programs, insofar as students are concerned, or as affecting students. It exercise exclusive jurisdiction and supervision over all student organizations. It is charged with the responsibility of extending recognition to legitimate student organizations established and operating within the University. It is directly in-charge of the cocurricular services and activities of the different student organizations, and coordinates students' use of University facilities as well as student off-campus activities.
It exercises disciplinary authority over all minor infractions as defined under the Code of Conduct and Discipline for Students.
MISSION
To complement students’ classroom experiences through campus activities that will generate opportunities for social, cultural, political, moral and spiritual growth.
VISION
To be a dynamic non- academic unit that is responsive to the diversified needs of the students in campus through the creation of learning experiences for the students’ holistic development.
OBJECTIVES
To Promote Student Welfare
The OSA aims to promote the welfare of the students in line with their educational, health, emotional, moral, social, financial, cultural-artistic needs. OSA provides adequate follow-up functions to meet such needs in coordination with the other SPS Services.
To Foster Communication
OSA acts as channel of communication between the students, the administrators, faculty and parents for purposes of augmenting and improving the University services.
To Guide Student Organization
OSA aids the students and their organizations in faithfully abiding by the rules and regulations, policies, and programs of the Institution.
OSA also guides the AU Supreme Student Council toward the realization of broad-based leadership efforts and participative management.
