International Nursing Program

Arellano University (AU) is proud to offer the International Nursing Program (INP), an innovative Bachelor of Science in Nursing course that remains the only one of its kind in the Philippines. Officially launched in 2006 through a pioneering partnership with Alderson Broaddus University, a U.S.-based institution, the program provides students with a globally recognized nursing education.

Spanning almost two decades, the AU-INP has continually evolved to meet global standards while maintaining its commitment to academic excellence. Today, the program builds on this legacy through a dynamic collaboration with West Virginia University (WVU), a leading public university located in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA. Under this partnership, AU implements the WVU School of Nursing curriculum during the first three years of the program at its Manila campus. The program strictly follows WVU’s academic policies, course content, progression standards, and clinical requirements. Upon successful completion of these three years, students become eligible to transfer to WVU to complete their final year and earn an American Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

AU has also signed an articulation agreement with Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth, Western Australia, further expanding international opportunities for AU-INP students. This agreement allows students to complete the first two years of their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at AU and then transfer to ECU to complete the remaining two years. Graduates receive an Australian Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and become eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

These strategic partnerships with esteemed institutions in the U.S. and Australia underscore AU’s commitment to providing a dynamic learning environment for future nursing professionals, ensuring their readiness to thrive in international healthcare settings.
