Six nursing students from Arellano University International Nursing Program have been accepted to West Virginia University's School of Nursing in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA. They have officially embarked on their senior year at WVU, marking another milestone in the growing collaboration between the two institutions.
For the past three years, the students studied at Arellano University in the Philippines before transferring to WVU through the 3+1 nursing education pathway established between the AU-INP and WVU. As part of the partnership, scholarships are also made available to support the students’ academic journey abroad. As they join WVU’s diverse student community, they are now set to earn their American Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, giving them valuable international training and exposure to advanced healthcare practices.
The acceptance of these Arellano University students at WVU represents more than just individual achievements—it symbolizes the growing international cooperation in healthcare education. Truly a profession that transcends borders to heal and care for communities worldwide.
