The Arellano University ChiefSquad soared to victory, in the 18th National Cheerleading Championship (NCC) sweeping three national titles and crowned as the nation’s top cheerleading team, held in Philsports Arena, Pasig City, on March 30.
The Legarda-based squad proved their mastery on the mat, delivering a full-out performance at the national level, with all three teams securing championship gold.
AU ChiefSquad set the tone early, executing sharp motions and solid stunts to claim the back-to-back champion title in Open COED Group Stunts Premiere Division marking 262 points.
The blue-gray-red Junior team followed with an impressive pyramid sequence and seamless tumbling, dominating the COED Cheer Advance Division with 315.5 points.
But Coach Lucky San Juan’s squad wasn’t done yet. Showcasing classic stunts and high-flying skills, they soared to their third title in the Open COED Cheer Premiere Division, scoring 345.5 points—all in true "pusong pAUlaban" spirit.
After securing two titles last year, ChiefSquad elevated their campaign in the 18th NCC, sweeping three podium finishes this year and cementing their status as the top cheerleading team in the country.
